Autodesk Autocad

Autocad which is manufactured by Autodesk is the industry leading CAD package.

Cabinet Vision

Cabinet Vision is a true screen to machine solution for the woodworking industry, manufactured by Planit it is a state of the art CAD/CAM application capable of producing photo realistic renderings at the same time as producing machine level code.  The investment in Cabinet Vision has streamlined the buisness and tied all of the machinery on the shop floor together to ensure that jobs run through faster and with greater accuracy.

The implementation of Cabinet Vision has meant that when a customer comes to us with a project they would liek us to look at, we can quickly turn around an accurate quote accompanied by a photo realistic rendering showing the proposed furniture.  The system is fully parametric and so if the customer requires any alterations to the cabinets then they are easily made at this stage.  Once a job is accepted Cabinet Vision handles the optimization of materials and the wiritng of programs for the CNC machinery, as it is all tied together by Cabinet Vision anything you see on the screen is transferred to the machine and so you get what you see.  Working drawings are also produced by the software to help the assembly and fitting teams do their job as quickly and efficiently as possible.  An additional bonus of the software is if anything was to be damaged on site at any time in the future or if an additional item was required, the system can easily reproduce a specific part to be replaced on site.

Fully Computerized Work Floor

As outlined above our manufacturing process is now fully computerized with Cabinet Vision handling the communication of screen to machine.  Items coming off of the Beamsaw have a barcode label applied to them which then mean they are traceable at every stage up until the item is installed and the job is completed.
